Position Description:
Support the efforts of the Fuels and Retail teams through the facilitations of new clients’ entry into retail natural gas markets and the management of customer information for our clients. This role will involve analysis of retail Natural Gas markets, pipeline scheduling, forecasting, settlements and LDC/pipeline imbalance management. This position will also support the marketing efforts of the Fuels and Retail Team as well as the company as a whole.
Position Duties & Responsibilities:
This candidate will work with large amounts of transactional data associated with multiple clients’ participation in wholesale and retail natural gas markets. The candidate will be responsible for managing “market entry” enrollment forms for clients, exchanging data with utilities, exchanging data with the client, verifying LDC and pipeline statements, verifying enrollment and billing data analyzing monthly , daily and intraday gas needs, forecasting future requirements related to gas, portfolio analysis, or other natural gas marketplace functions. The candidate will possess and maintain an ongoing understanding of LDC and interstate pipeline market rules and apply this knowledge on behalf of clients in various marketplaces.
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Retail and Wholesale Natural Gas energy markets.
- Working knowledge of LDC scheduling, pools, and imbalance management
- Exceptional attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
- Experience in dealing with databases (can be developed)
- Commitment to working seamlessly and openly with a small team devoted to outstanding customer service, personal improvement and company growth.
- Experience with Northeastern LDCs a plus
Relevant Experience:
- Two or more year’s natural gas industry experience in scheduling/analyst position.
Education:

Summary:
This position will lead the development, implementation and operation of services that affect the consumer, supplier and manufacturer of energy efficient products sold at retail and will collaborate with other Market Managers, both Residential and Business, and supporting services, e.g. Marketing, IT, Planning & Evaluation, Fiscal Administration, etc., to pro-actively identify market needs and develops plans and strategies to address these needs and to achieve Efficiency Smart Power Plant (ESPP) goals and contractual objectives.

Summary:
The Senior Technical Specialist will lead the development and coordination of technical policies, systems and engineering resources for ESPP to ensure the delivery of high quality technical information and services to ESPP staff, subcontractors and customers. This position will also oversee the development, procurement, and maintenance of the technical analysis tools necessary for efficient, appropriate and accurate technical analysis and reporting of efficiency measures while providing assistance and training for ESPP staff in use of technical analysis tools and methods, and assists staff with custom analysis and screening.
Requirements:
Masters degree in engineering or environmental science plus minimum 5 years relevant professional experience. Strong proficiency with detailed engineering analysis, documentation of analysis procedures, development of analysis tools.
