Job Description:
This position serves as the main liaison between IT and the corporate

management on regulatory matters. Perform like services for Southwestern
Public Service Company (SWEPCO) and other affiliates of PSO in Arkansas,
Louisiana and Texas, as needed. Coordinate with AEPSC legal and
regulatory services departments in Austin Texas and Columbus, Ohio.
Minimum Requirements:
3-15 years experience in a law firm, corporate legal department or
regulatory agency. Admission to practice law in Oklahoma also required.
Special Qualifications:
3-15 years experience preferable with a law firm, corporate legal
department, or on the staff of a rate regulatory body, such as FERC, or
state regulatory agency. Experience with state or federal rate and/or
utility regulations is a plus. Proven ability for initiative, creativity,
and working independently of direct supervision while still being aligned
with the goals of the corporate Legal Department.
Description: The
attorney in this position will provide comprehensive legal support for
AEP’s energy marketing and trading business. He or she will need to
exercise independent legal judgment and provide direct legal advice,
support, research and options to senior management and appropriate
business personnel on energy marketing and trading, including related
regulatory and compliance matters. We prefer candidates for this
position who have prior experience in energy trading or derivatives, but
we are open to training candidates in this area who otherwise have

SUMMARY & DUTIES:
Value energy transactions using a variety of methodologies while
maximizing value through continual improvement of relationships between
traders, marketers, originators and other members of Commercial
Operations. Applicant will also have a broad knowledge of energy products
with specific concentration on electricity, coal and natural gas. Working
knowledge of RTO markets is a requirement. Applicant must be able to
manage Analysts and Associates and provide work products in a timely
manner. Typical products include tolling arrangements, full requirements
transactions, basis swaps and asset purchases / divestitures. Strong
options theory is required and Structuring experience is preferable.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree required (preferably in
finance, economics, accounting, business, engineering or information
systems) and 3-5 years of industry experience. Transaction structuring

Credit Analyst
Responsible for the administration of
the company's credit risk management policy. The function
primarily supports AEP's commercial operations (trading,
marketing and fuel procurement) as well as other functional
groups within AEP and is responsible for determining the
financial ability of AEP's counterparties to deliver
contracted products and services and to meet payment
obligations. Duties will include but are not limited to
monitoring daily exposures, setting credit limits and
evaluating existing and new counterparty creditworthiness.
Performing financial analysis on counterparties and preparing
a write-up summarizing the financial strength of the company
and any strengths/weaknesses they may be facing. Must work
closely with commercial, contracts and legal departments to
negotiate contracts supporting various transactions.
Responsible for evaluating structured deals, epc contracts and
commodity transactions to determine credit requirements and
maintaining any required credit support or collateral. Some
over-time and some travel may be required.
Bachelors degree required and 3-7 years related work

Position Duties:
Apply fundamental economic logic to various markets. Supports
the ongoing analysis of energy market conditions (likely area
of focus will be metals markets but may assist in other areas
from power to coal to gas markets) including domestic supply,
demand, inventory, price and infrastructure development.
Statistical analysis of the correlation between market drivers
and price plus relationships between various energy
commodities is required. You will be a part of the
fundamental analysis team that will be forecasting the
expected price of various commodities and tying in a story to

relay protection and control engineer with demonstrated
advanced level of expertise in application, design, and
troubleshooting of protective relays and systems. Candidates
should have minimum 9 years of experience in substation relay
protection, control and SCADA application, design and

should have Bachelors Degree or Advanced Degree in Electrical
Engineering. PE registration is required for senior level
position and above. Specific experience with utility

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for performing duties and assignments associated with the

Provide construction site management
for station or line transmission construction projects to ensure
